Before
The project
Family room: paneling removed, new drywall and recessed lights, floor refinished, fireplace painted
This Hunting Ridge family room had dark wood paneling and an orange oak floor. We took the paneling down, drywalled the walls and ceiling, and added recessed lights.
Then we refinished the oak floor in a darker stain and painted the full-height brick fireplace wall charcoal.
